MONDAY MEMOIR VOL. 22

Priceless Moment of the Week:
My son’s t-ball team lost their first game in the play-offs 14-13.  One of his teammates asked me, “Coach did we win?” And I replied, “No, we lost…”  My son told that player, “yeah… we lost, but we played a good game.”  The look on my face…

Yeap… I did this:
1 – Cut, edged and blowed the yard (front & back), washed the patio, and cooked a 9lb brisket in one day!
2 – Took photographs of my son’s t-ball team, helped coach the team (in 98 degree weather) and still had energy to celebrate my daughter’s first birthday!
3 – I jumped in a moon-bounce for at least 5 minutes.  The ground was still bouncing when I got out; what a feelin’!

Celebrating:
My Baby-Girl’s first birthday!  We went all out with a “Princess-Party” and my house was full of Diva’s from all around the country!  I just love when family can get together for “Happy” occasions; not just for funerals.

We also dedicated our daughter to the Lord on Sunday morning at church.  We just love her God-Parents.
Although she’s been taking a few steps she did not walk on her birthday… maybe next week.

Feeling Blessed: While preparing for my daughter’s BIG-WEEKEND, my son fell ill and we had to rush him to the ER.  Everything worked itself out but I tell ya, I’m blessed to have insurance and can go the doctor whenever we need too without worrying if it’ll cost us an arm or leg.

I’m also blessed to be able to capture life’s moments of my/your special occasions.  God has truly laid his hands on me…

Please continue to pray for me while I try my best to do a better job of listening to God.  So many time we see Him and are just now noticing who He is.  I want to be able to close my eyes and heighten my sense of hearing; I want to do a better job of hearing Him and His instructions.
